IN RESPONSE TO SHAE'S THESIS WORK "SPEAK"
It brought me to tears. It was so powerful seeing the dancers perform their hearts out, so fully fulfilling an idea. Used the music and the dancers so well; all the elements - everything came together beautifully.
Bronwen MacArthur
Professor at UMass Amherst & Smith College
The way this piece moves and breathes is breathtaking. It is clear Shae is equally as talented working with music as she is with movement, as talented at working with other bodies as she is her own. There is a stillness and an electricity to this piece, a silence and a thunderstorm.

Shae is an excellent teacher who offers a unique view. Her raw energy and passion for her craft are tangible, and her dedication to educating the next generation is admirable. I felt constantly inspired working with her.
Amanda Rose, Dancer in Shae's BFA Thesis Work
Shae's classes were the highlight of my day, and I always left feeling stronger. She is an amazing teacher that boosts your confidence and will put a smile on your face. Shae introduced me to barre, stretching techniques, and other exercises that have completely transformed the way I workout.
Josh Levine, UMass Amherst student
Shae inspires our students with her choreography and supportive teaching style and leads by example. Adding her as a member of my faculty was truly a proud moment for me and we all feel fortunate to have her in the Dance Designs family!
